Santa Rosa Junior College has received a two-year NSF grant to develop Course-based Undergraduate Research Experiences (CUREs). Faculty from STEM departments will be working to develop research projects that they will incorporate into their courses. You can get involved by attending the CURE Institute led by Dr. Erin Dolan on the SRJC campus August 15-18, attending meetings of the participants during the upcoming school year and/or visit courses with CUREs; attending the 2017 CURE Institute at SRJC.
The University of West Alabama is hosting CURE (Course-based Undergraduate Research Experience) workshop that will be held on campus in Livingston, Alabama October 28-29, 2016. The CURE workshop is an opportunity for faculty interested in incorporating undergraduate research into their courses of all scientific disciplines.
